Softball scholarship breakdown

Softball is typically awarded as an equivalency sport, meaning scholarships are often split across the roster. Always confirm details with the school and official governing body rules.

NCAA Division I

Scholarships: 12 (equivalency)
Typical reality: partial scholarships are common

NCAA Division III

Scholarships: 0 athletic scholarships
Financial aid: academic + need-based aid can apply

NAIA

NJCAA Division I

NJCAA Division II
