Bio

Background

Kyle Forbes is a lifelong Boynton Beach resident and Atlantic High School graduate, where he lettered in three varsity sports and was named Athlete of the Year in 1987. He played college baseball at Palm Beach Atlantic University and earned Region All-Academic honors in 1989. Kyle began his coaching career in 1989 as an assistant at Florida Atlantic University, later becoming the head baseball coach at Palm Beach Atlantic University in 1994. After additional collegiate coaching stops, he joined Palm Beach State College in 2005 as pitching coach and was named head coach in 2011—building one of the most consistent winning JUCO programs in Florida through 2026.

Career / Playing / Coaching

He was the head coach at Palm Beach Atlantic University for nine seasons, winning 244 games with six postseason appearances and national top-25 rankings.

He became head coach at Palm Beach State in 2011 and guided the program to conference titles, five state championship game appearances, a 2013 state title, and a 2013 NJCAA national runner-up finish.

He has been recognized with multiple Coach of the Year honors and has evaluated talent as an associate scout for MLB organizations.
