Our Story
How it all started.
The idea of forming Florida Diamond Recruiting Services has been in the works for over 25 years.
In addition to helping his own players during his coaching days, Mike was constantly helping friends and friends of friends families navigate the college baseball recruiting process. Mike’s ability to be able to project a player’s potential and where that player will fit at the collegiate level stems from him personally scouting and evaluating college players and programs from all over the country for over 30 years.
The ability to evaluate/project/and have first-hand knowledge of the recommended level(s) that your son will be able to participate/contribute/and hopefully excel at is what saves families time and money, in both the short and long term.
In addition, while going through the recruiting process with his daughter in a completely different sport, Mike saw firsthand as a parent, the need to be able to reach families and help with this recruiting process.

Recruiting is not a one-size-fits-all process. We take the time to understand each athlete’s individual goals, academic standing, and athletic potential. Through one-on-one consultations, we provide expert advice on navigating the recruiting landscape, identifying the best fit for college programs, and maximizing exposure.
Evaluate
Our team’s deep knowledge of the game allows us to conduct objective player evaluationsthat reflect where an athlete truly stands in the recruiting process. We assess key performance metrics, technical skills, and in-game instincts to help families understand how their athlete compares to the competition and where improvements can be made.
Project
Understanding a player’s future potential is just as important as assessing current ability. Through data-driven insights and expert analysis, we project where an athlete’s skills align within the college baseball landscape.
