Anthony Lyman

I would describe myself as a hard-working, gritty, and competitive baseball player who takes pride in doing whatever it takes to help my team win. I believe in playing every pitch with effort and never backing down when things get difficult.

My 2026 varsity season started with a hot start, but just two weeks in, I dislocated my glove-side shoulder while diving for a ball and colliding with a teammate. The injury kept me off the field for some time, but I worked my way back and finished the season with my team, including playing through the playoff run while still dealing with the injury.

After the season, I played in one summer tournament but continued having issues with my shoulder. I decided to take the rest of the summer off to let it fully recover. Although being away from baseball was difficult, the experience taught me resilience, patience, and the importance of taking care of myself so I could come back stronger.

As a person, I am someone who works hard, holds myself accountable, and does not quit when faced with adversity. I strive to be a player and teammate that coaches and teammates can always count on.
